Vaganova Method Ballet Classes

Class Descriptions:

If you are a new ballet student, an aspiring teenager wishing to develop your technique for auditions, performance or exams then theschool will have a class for you. Ballet classes are taught in the classical Russian Vaganova method.

Each student is placed in the class most appropriate for her/his level. Attention is given to developing each student by focusing on their strengths and talents.

Junior Division : Ages 8 -12 year old.

Gades 4-6. These levels will follow the Vaganova Academy Syllabus. Classical technique increases in difficulty.

Point work (from 10/11 years old) lengthens in duration and students learn variations from selected classical ballets.

Pre-Senior : Ages 12- 16.

Grade 7, Pre-Intermediate.

Ballet Exams:

All Ballet Exams will be taken by professional examiners of The Association of Russian Ballet and Theater Arts (ARBTA).

Class Times:

Ballet Junior Level Saturday 12.30 – 1.10pm
Ballet Pre-Senior Level Saturday 10.30 – 11.25am
