Performing arts program

The performing arts program brings the three core arts of dance, drama and music to the student who wishes to explore not only musical theatre but all other elements within the performing arts world that creates live theatre and film. All classes are taught by highly trained professionals who are working within the performing art world as performers, creators and teachers.

This provides theschool access to a wide range of performing artists that bring their professional performing knowledge directly to the student through free workshops and classes, providing the student with a more knowledgeable  outlook of the performing art world and what it can offer them professionally if they so wish to follow this route.

Past students have gone onto featured film roles, local and national performing arts schools, whilst others are working abroad teaching, dancing and performing.  Current students have performed at the Hippodromes, ‘Bugsy Malone’, gaining the main role of Tallulah, whilst others have worked under Matthew Bourne and have performed professionally in Billy Elliot. Other students, under guidance from working professionals, continue to train on the performing arts program as well as further higher level school programs, working towards auditions at dance, drama and musical theatre schools, for careers in the performing arts world.

theschool’s performing arts program is more than just a support for the student who wishes and dreams to have a career in the performing arts word, we support and nurture the students dreams and desires whatever that may be and we will always advise them in the best possible way as they learn to joyfully move gracefully within a space and talk to others in a confident manner no matter what the situation whilst learning that you can become successful in whatever you desire if you have the passion to put in the work that it requires to get there, always having fun whilst learning. Belong, Believe, Become.

This fun but focused performing arts program divides the students into two Levels (Level 1 and Level 2), for ages 8/9 – 18, providing the student with the level of training that best suits their needs.
